Honkōji is a head temple of the Hokke sect,
where prayer and culture have been handed down for more than six centuries.
Through daily prayers and devoted practice, the wishes of countless people have accumulated over time,
and that long journey continues to quietly breathe within this land today.
Throughout its history, cultural treasures such as the Juzumaru sword
have also been carefully preserved and passed down,
embraced by prayer across the generations.
Passing through the main gate,
a quiet space of prayer unfolds around the main hall.
Within the temple grounds, six sub-temples are gently scattered,
each cared for by its own priest, who faithfully upholds the daily practices of devotion.
